Annual Eagle River Cleanup

The Annual Eagle River Cleanup will take place September 10, 2022. Every year, hundreds of dedicated volunteers tackle the public banks of the Eagle River in teams.  If you'd like to join the Town of Minturn volunteer team, please reach out to Cindy Krieg (events@minturn.org, 970-445-2415) to sign up.  

The Minturn stretch will be from Maloit Park Road to Tigiwon Road.  Cleanup takes place from 9am - noon, and the volunteer BBQ will be held at Broken Arrow Cafe in Arrowhead following (from 12-3pm).

Volunteers are encouraged to bring gloves, a hat, sunscreen, and water, as well as to wear boots or appropriate shoes for cleaning up along the river.  Bags and vests will be provided.  

Volunteer waivers are required, and can be found HERE (about halfway down the page).  There are English and Spanish versions, as well as adult and youth (ages 14-18).  Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age.
