The Economic Development Department works to strengthen and expand economic opportunities within and for the Town of Minturn, its residents, and its businesses.
The Economic Development Department is responsible for all business licensing (including short term rentals), as well as all event planning, and also administers support to the Minturn Downtown Development Authority.

Food Truck Licensing:
- TO APPLY FOR A FOOD TRUCK LICENSE IN MINTURN, PLEASE CONTACT DEPUTY CLERK CINDY KRIEG (970-445-2415, EVENTS [at] MINTURN.ORG (EVENTS[at]MINTURN[dot]ORG)). THE FOLLOWING WILL BE REQUIRED:
- Food Truck License Application and appropriate fees
- Food Truck Vendor Guidelines Agreement
- Certificate of Property Permission to Operate
- Food Truck Operator MUST be licensed (Mobile Retail Food Establishment License) with Eagle County, and in good standing
- Food Truck Ordinance
Snowplow Contractor Licensing:
PLEASE NOTE, ALL COMMERCIAL SNOWPLOW CONTRACTORS OPERATING IN MINTURN MUST BE PROPERLY LICENSED / REGISTERED WITH THE TOWN.
- TO APPLY FOR A SNOWPLOW CONTRACTOR LICENSE IN MINTURN, PLEASE CONTACT KEVIN RINDY (970-445-2434, %20CODE [at] MINTURN.ORG (CODE[at]MINTURN[dot]ORG)). THE FOLLOWING WILL BE REQUIRED:
- Snowplow Contractor License Application
- Certificate of Insurance
- Snowplow Contractor Acknowledgement Form (Agreement to Follow the Minturn Municipal Code / Snow Removal Guidelines)
