JUNE 20 - DYNAFIT TOWN OF MINTURN SUMMER SOLSTICE

Vail Recreation District's (VRD) Vail Trail Running Series kicks off the Summer with the Dynafit Summer Solstice 10K and 5K, presented by Town of Minturn. This exciting route will take place on Meadow Mountain in Minturn, Colorado. 10k Runners will ascend technical singletrack on the beautiful West Grouse Trail with multiple stream crossings and fields of blossoming wildflowers. At the high point and nearly half-way through the 10k race, runners will begin the descent to the finish on double track with open views of Vail Mountain and the Gore Range. 5k runners will enjoy a 1.5 mile double track ascent through mountain meadows and past old homesteads before making a u-turn and quickly descending to the finish line.
