Christmas Tree Bonfire

Residents are welcome to leave their undecorated Christmas trees at the end of their driveways (curbside) for free pickup by Minturn Public Works. Trees must be curbside in order to be picked up. Pickup will take place the week of January 3rd, through January 7th (12noon), commencing with the bonfire on Friday, January 7th. Residents may also bring their trees directly to Little Beach Park for the bonfire, on Friday January 7th.
The Bonfire will take place on Friday, January 7th from 6-7:30pm, and will include hot cocoa and s’mores roasting.
PLEASE NOTE - THIS IS A MANNED, SUPERVISED BURN, IN THE SNOW, AND WILL BE OVERSEEN BY THE EAGLE RIVER FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT AND OUR PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT. THE FIRE WILL BE PUT OUT WITH SNOW AT THE END OF THE EVENT. WE WANT TO ASSURE THE COMMUNITY THAT WE ARE PRACTICING ALL APPROPROIATE SAFETY MEASURES. THANK YOU.
