NOVEMBER 22, 2021 - FORMATION COMMITTEE UPDATE & ACTION STEPS
The Town of Minturn is so thankful for all of the Minturn residents as well as a few Eagle County locals who have answered the call to volunteer in the efforts to create Historic Preservation legislation. This group will help to determine the draft Ordinance that will eventually be presented to the Minturn Planning Commission and Town Council for consideration. The Committee should consider reviewing the linked document included with this post (from History Colorado) in preparation for the upcoming group discussions.

NOVEMBER 16, 2021 - CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
The Town of Minturn is beginning the process to adopt an historic preservation policy. This policy will lead to the implementation of an historic preservation program. The first step is to gather interested volunteers to review guidelines and submit comments/feedback in an effort to create policy truly reflective of the Minturn's community values. Staff will be drafting an Historic Preservation Ordinance in the coming months and the Town is hopeful for a thorough review and edit of the draft document prior to this legislation going before the Planning Commission and Town Council for approval.
