Economic Development Survey
Survey Says! The Results are in!
The Northwest Colorado Council of Governments conducted an Economic Development survey for us and the results are posted on their website. http://www.nwc.cog.co.us/ . You are also welcome to drop by Town Hall and review them.
In a nutshell, the conclusions resulted in an agreement that the "most important issues facing Minturn" are:
- Development the Gilman Property (Battle Mt. Development)
- Preservation of small town character
- Traffic on Hwy. 24
that we need:
- Recrreation Center
- ECO bike/pedestrian trail
- new sidewalks
- stricter zoning requirements
- more parking
that the Town values highly and believe needs improvement:
- Economic Development
- Traffic flow
- Parks & trails
- Appearance of Town
- Open Space areas
- Recycling
- Recreational opportunities
- Clean environment
