Business Climate
The Town of Minturn is home to more than 140 active businesses
in 2004. Among these businesses are retailers, restaurants,
hotels, services, artists, contractors, non-profit organizations,
governmental bodies and financial institutions. The downtown
core showcases some of the valley’s longest-standing
restaurants, as well as several unique galleries and specialty
stores. A second commercial district in the central part of
town hosts businesses such as a bed and breakfast, car wash
and bank. At the southern end of town, several unique services,
including photographer’s studio, woodworkers’
shop and filling station, add to the diverse collection of
businesses in Minturn.

Business Licenses
Any individual or group doing business in the Town of Minturn
is required to obtain a business license and provide emergency
contact information to the town. Business Licenses are renewed
annually on April 1.
Businesses must file both forms to receive a license.
