Mission Statement

Goals

The Planning and Zoning Department is dedicated to helping Minturn achieve the community’s vision for tomorrow and improve the quality of the built environment, protect scenic and environmental provisions, and assist community members in understanding community development.

Objectives

The Planning and Zoning Department provides front line resources to assist customers in obtaining various permits for development, as well as providing information on properties regarding zoning issues.

The Planning and Zoning Department is committed to:

• Providing professional, efficient, customer service to the community
• Helping the community understand basic planning principles
• Promote greater understanding of the Subdivision and Zoning Code
• Finding practical and common sense solutions
